May 10, 2005--City Council sends letter to City Solicitor's office bringing it up to date on its position.  City Council President states "it is critical for the city to insist that an at-grade crossing be constructed at Locust Street and that an overpass, should one ever be constructed, be in addition to and not a subtitute for an at-grade crossing at Locust Street."  read here

May 6, 2005--CSX respondes to City of Philadelphia by saying "CSXT cannot agree to an at-grade crossing at Locust Street as a permanent resolution of this matter."  read here

April 29, 2005--City of Philadelphia sends letter to CSX regarding lack of progress in settlement negotiations since March.  City reiterated that position that "the City will not agree to any proposal that involves permanent closure of the pedestrian at-grade crossing at Locust Street."  read here

February 14, 2005 - CSX files motion to strike Free Schuylkill River Park as 'Friend of the Court,' Amicus Curiae, in the Preliminary Injunction and to strike the request for Renewal for the Motion to Intervene in CSX v.
